When is Teachers Day?

Teachers Day is celebrated on September 05. Since 1962, the birthday of the second president Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan has been chosen as the day for celebrating Teachers Day in India. Many countries celebrate this day on different dates. For example, Brazil celebrates Teachers Day on October 15. Argentina celebrates this day on September 11. Vietnam celebrates this day on November 20. Furthermore, many countries like Canada, Bangladesh, Belgium, Georgia, UAE, Kuwait, Maldives, Philippines, etc celebrate Teachers Day on October 05 which is the same as the date of World Teachers Day established by UNESCO in 1994.
