  Fill a clean vase with fresh water. For extra nourishment, add a teaspoon of sugar and a few drops of lemon juice or use the included flower food.
• 4. Remove Lower Leaves
  Pluck off any leaves that will sit below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.
• 5. Choose the Right Spot
  Place your flowers in a cool area with indirect sunlight — away from heat, direct sun, or cold drafts.
• 6. Refresh Regularly
  Change the water every two days and re-trim the stems to keep your blooms fresher for longer.
